This first card of the series is the Traffic Stop. On the front side is exactly the procedure you need to follow when you are pulled over, and on the back is a clear explanation of what constitutes "reasonable suspicion". Give the officer the card and let him read along as you assert your rights. Use your cell phone to record the situation (you have the right to do so). The printed rights with proof that you timely exercised them puts you in control. If necessary, you now have the proof you may need in Court if it comes to that. Digital, print your own for $5.99 or postcard 10 pack for $8.95.
Don't Mess with Me Cards
If we don't know our rights, or know how to assert them, we will lose them. My goal is to provide a series of cards that will guide you through several situations where authority, rightfully or wrongfully, is attempting to take away your rights. The first in the series deals with Traffic Stops - - -keep this card in your vehicle and share copies with loved ones. Eventually there will be 5 or more cards dealing with common situations where you are put in a position of asserting or surrendering your rights.
Eventually, there will be a softback edition that encompasses all these issues and more, but a book is not what you need in a crisis - - -you need a weapon, that arms you with exactly what you should and should not do in certain situations. Start with this traffic stop card, and I think you'll want to stay to the end.
